1. Overview & General Eligibility

All flight ticket refunds, cancellations, and void requests processed through London Air are strictly governed by the originating operating airline's fare rules, GDS fare conditions, and IATA BSP (Billing and Settlement Plan) guidelines.

Refund eligibility is determined by the specific fare class booked (e.g., Non-Refundable, Restricted Economy, Flexible Corporate, Business Class).

2. Voluntary Cancellations & Penalties

When a passenger or agency voluntarily requests to cancel an issued ticket:

  • Airline cancellation penalties will be deducted in accordance with the specific GDS fare rule.
  • London Air applies a standard processing charge (as specified in your agent tier agreement).
  • Non-refundable government taxes and airline fuel surcharges (YQ/YR) are refunded only where permitted by carrier regulations.

3. Involuntary Changes & Airline Cancellations

In the event an operating carrier cancels a scheduled flight, adjusts schedules significantly (typically > 2 hours or resulting in a missed connection), or suspends operations due to airspace restrictions:

Full Waiver Guarantee: London Air will claim a 100% airline penalty waiver on behalf of your agency. Once authorized by the airline via GDS waiver code (WAIV/SKEDCHG), the full ticket value is credited back without penalty.

4. Same-Day Void Policy & Deadlines

Tickets issued on the same calendar day may be voided directly via the agent portal prior to the airline's daily BSP closure (normally 23:30 local time).

  • Voided tickets avoid all standard airline cancellation penalties.
  • A nominal void processing fee (BDT 300 – 500 depending on carrier) applies.
  • The remaining full fare amount is instantly released back to your agency credit wallet.

5. Partially Used Tickets

For round-trip or multi-sector tickets where outbound travel has already occurred, refund value is calculated by deducting the full one-way published tariff and airline cancellation fee from the total paid fare. In some restricted promotional fares, partially flown tickets retain zero residual value.

6. No-Show Conditions & Charges

If a passenger fails to check-in or cancel their reservation at least 4 to 24 hours prior to scheduled departure (depending on carrier rules), the ticket is classified as a "No-Show".

In addition to cancellation fees, heavy airline No-Show penalties will apply, and some carriers render the ticket completely non-refundable upon No-Show.

9. Non-Refundable Components

The following charges are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Payment gateway transaction charges or bank transfer fees.
  • Visa processing consultation and governmental visa submission fees.
  • Travel insurance premium payments after policy issuance.
